Once she turned the corner she spotted a little house in the hillside and she walked up to the mini blue, circle door and knocked on the door. KNOCK KNOCK! No one was home. So Sally walked up to another house and she could hear talking from the inside. So she knocked on the door. Suddenly the talking stopped. "Hello?" Sally said. The door opened and a hobbit came out the house. "Who are you?" he bellowed. "I'm Sally" she said a little frightened. "Your not one of us, so get Out Of Here !" he shouted. "Wait, can I explore, then i'll leave, please" Sally said. "Fine Whatever!" and he shut the door. As she turned to leave the house, she bumped into a big tall, grey Wizard with a long white scratchy beard. She screamed with fear! She ran back up the path. Sally was never going back!!

Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the sequel
I really enjoyed your story Rebecca. Sally was very brave and must of really wanted to have a look around.

Hello Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteAll the teacher aides have read your story. We think you show great imagination. Could you describe the surroundings more? What is the next house like? Have you been watching Lord of the Rings? Will this story be continued?
Dear Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteWell done for using Pobble as a learning tool Rebecca.
Writers are inspired by many things. Which other writing tools do you use? Could you write a plan using the questions the teacher aides have asked in the blog comment above.
I am looking forward to the next instalment.
Thanks for commenting:)
ReplyDeleteGreat story idea Rebecca! Everytime I drive past Castle Hill going to Christchurch it makes me want to watch Lord of the Rings...for about the 5th time : )
ReplyDeleteIf only Sally knew that the big tall guy was Gandalf! I'm sure he would have helped her with grumpy Hobbits and have a good explore.
This could be the start of an interesting wee Trilogy story maybe?
Thanks for sharing
Miss J
