Hi Rebecca, there are some really interesting facts here. The fact about Hornets destroying 20 to 30 thousand bees is very alarming. Wasps are such a problem when our grapevine is fruiting. Maybe you could add some images of the different types of hornets and wasps. Thanks Rebecca Mrs Devlin
Very interesting reading Rebecca! Thank you for doing that research, they would decimate our bee populations if they ever made it here wouldn't they. I hadn't realised we have the highest populations of the German and Common Wasp here either. It makes me wonder if our native Honey Bees could ever develop or evolve some defense mechanism like the Japanese Bee.
PS, thank you for adding images, and those videos are very interesting, especially that they are not designed to stockpile and survive certain seasons!
