I have all already been to that amazing tree
When I visited Tane Mahuta it had a beautiful path through the Waipoua forest.
I is the biggest tree I had ever seen it's so huge that we tried to take a picture the tree was like not even in it!
You are very lucky to have seen Tane Mahuta. I have also seen him and was really amazed at how huge he was. When you walk into the forest and then see this amazing huge tree it is quite unbelievable. I think it is quite sad that there is a disease that is threatening all the kauri trees in Northland. I really hope that they are able to get it under control before it gets to Tane Mahuta. It would be great if this tree could be protected so many more people can go and see him. He has lived for about 1500 years now it would be good to think that he could still be there in another 1500 years. Did you take the photo when you were there? Or are you in the photo?
